although I think the Provincial sales tax is 7%.
and then there's the Federal GST(Goods and Services Tax), which is also 7%.

so, 14%, all told.

some Provinces don't have sales tax. I think it's only Alberta.

one of the Maritime Prov's is like 10% or so...plsu the 7% gst...
